There are times when some of us are faced with overwhelming issues and do not have the support of family.  Being a teen mother can be very challenging and scary at the same time.  Sometimes these young ladies are left with the feelings of loneliness and isolation.  Rustic Hope provides support to single mothers before delivery, during delivery, and afterwards.  This is such a beautiful cause that is non profit and Christian based.

They are pro-life and will be the support system a young mother needs.  Motherhood is scary at first.  There are so many worries and concerns that arise.  I am so thankful we have a place like Rustic Hope that will be there when no one else is.

Their services include temporary housing, transportation, food, baby supplies, day care, adoption information, post abortive counseling, parenting classes and more.  Their aim is to show others unconditional love.  Every life to them matters.

The Shed

They have a place called the shed where parents can come in and get needed supplies such as clothing, toys, toiletries, diapers, blankets, and books.

Their business has been expanding rapidly and they are in need of our help.

My passion for helping teen moms

This is my beautiful sister Jean. My mother was a teen mom and she chose to give my sister Jean up for adoption in order to provide her a more stable life. My mother always told us about her. My whole family often wondered how she was and if she was doing well. By the grace of God, Jean found us through adoption records a few years back. What a great joy it was to finally meet her! Now, we have Jean back in our family. We are so thankful and we are all truly blessed.

My mother made a difficult decision, but the best one. She had no one supporting her. The only way Jean would get what she needed was for another family to provide it to her. My mother made a very difficult decision, but it was out of compassion and unconditional love.

We cannot thank Jean's adoptive family enough for the life they have given her. We cannot thank Jean enough for coming to us with understanding and open arms. I am so happy to have a big sister to call my own. I can not wait to see what the future holds for all of us.

God truly blessed us by taking care of Jean and giving us the opportunity to meet her and welcome her into our lives. My mother is at peace now. She knows Jean is safe. Mom was able to see her baby she had longed to see after all these years.

It would have been wonderful for my mother if she had a place like Rustic Hope to turn to. We cannot thank God enough for organizations such as these and they deserve our full support!

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.  (Hebrews 6:10, NIV)

I was touched how organizations like Rustic Hope is able to help anyway they can. That longing and sadness for every mother that is separated from her daughter must be so unbearable because of her circumstances that leaves her no choice. This is a reality that happens every now and then for teen moms..I am happy for you that in the end, God led you back to your sister….
