There are three items I consistently keep in my house for cleaning on a budget.  Matter of fact, these are the only three products you will need to clean your whole house all the time.  They are safe around your pets, they have no chemicals, and they are dirt cheap!  It is water, baking soda (you will need a few), and vinegar.  A spray bottle and bucket help a ton too.  I buy a gallon of distilled white vinegar for three dollars at my local store.  Baking Soda is fifty cents and a spray bottle and bucket is just a few dollars a piece. These products should last you a month at least and you have spent less than ten dollars on them.  Now, vinegar is not the most pleasant smelling cleaner, but after a few hours it will smell fresh and clean in your home.  Vinegar is great for destroying odors.  Below I have given you some recipes to use for cleaning your whole house with these products.  I have done all of them and they work well!!

FLOORS:

1 C. VINEGAR TO 1/2 BUCKET FILLED WITH WATER

DRAINS

SPRINKLE SOME BAKING SODA IN THE DRAIN AND POUR SOME VINEGAR DOWN THEM (PREPARE TO CLEAN UP A MESS! YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT WHAT THIS PULLS OUT OF YOUR DRAINS)

WASHING MACHINE

PUT VINEGAR IN THE BOTTOM OF THE WASHING MACHINE (ABOUT A CUP) RUN ON A HOT CYCLE AND WIPE OUT WITH A TOWEL.

DISHWASHER

POUR VINEGAR IN YOUR DETERGENT AREA AND RUN CYCLE.  WIPE OUT WHEN DONE

WINDOWS:

PUT HALF WATER AND HALF VINEGAR IN A SPRAY BOTTLE.  SPRAY WINDOWS AND WIPE WITH A PAPER TOWEL.  (COFFEE FILTERS WORK GREAT TO DRY TOO!)

FLAT TOP STOVE:

SPRINKLE BAKING SODA ON STOVE TOP. SPRAY VINEGAR OVER TOP AND LET SIT FOR 15 MINUTES.  WIPE DOWN

ALL PURPOSE CLEANER

1/2 WATER AND 1/2 VINEGAR IN A SPRAY BOTTLE. USE TO CLEAN ALL SURFACES.

A SCRUB FOR TUBS, SINKS ETC.

SPRAY TUB, SINK OR TOILET WITH 1/2 VINEGAR AND WATER SOLUTION.  SPRINKLE BAKING SODA ON TOP. SCRUB AWAY!

STINKY CLOTHES

THROW A CUP OF VINEGAR IN THE BOTTOM OF THE TUB, USE DETERGENT AND WASH

Aunt Fannie's Fannie Pack

Another economical method for cleaning is Aunt Fannies.  Although their products are initially a tad more expensive than plain vinegar, they smell great and last a long time.  They are safe and their main ingredient is vinegar.  I love their products and lavendar is my favorite scent.  Check them out today!
